Refund Policy

The short version
All purchases are final and non-refundable. Dictro has a free plan precisely so you can try the full dictation experience before paying a cent — please use it to make sure Dictro works for you, on your Mac, before upgrading.
Why no refunds
Dictro is a small, independent product. The free plan lets you test everything that matters — accuracy, speed, and how it fits your workflow — with no time limit. Because you can evaluate the product fully before buying, we don't offer refunds after purchase.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately; your paid plan remains active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and no partial or pro-rated refunds are given for the unused time.
Exceptions
We will always make it right in these cases:
- Billing errors — if you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling, contact us and we'll refund the erroneous charge in full.
- Where the law requires it — nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived in your country (for example, certain consumer withdrawal rights in the EU and UK).
